The Pass: W77

The Pass is a gated passageway over the steep rocky terrain that borders the northeastern shore of the Lake in Central Park's Ramble. It winds around behind the Cave Site and then continues upward along the bluff with its steep drop to the water's edge. Ascending the slope it rises high above the wooded shoreline and advances even higher until it reaches the path leading to the top of the Rustic Stone Arch. This is definitely an adventurous pathway with its meandering curves and steep incline over which it travels.
